How did you choose this path?
The work I do resides within the intersection of business, people, and technology. I chose this path because while I enjoyed technology and working with computers, sitting in front of a computer for eight hours never appealed to me. In my current role I'm able to leverage my technical background to problem solve for customers on different projects.
What are some challenges that you had to overcome?
I'm currently in the last year of my second Masters Degree. When I began my program, I had planned to pursue a PhD; however I found myself within a program where not only did I not feel supported, but the program didn't align with my future in the way that I had expected it to. Ultimately, I made the difficult decision to pivot from a PhD to a Master's degree. While a PhD is still in the cards stepping away from this program will allow me to identify a program that will best cater to my needs and allow me to thrive.
